When Conspiracy Becomes Reality, Standby. Author: Barney Kaufman Date: 2009-11-03
Over the past couple of years I have noticed a disturbing trend happening in the media world. The things I have thought about and have talked about have become increasingly less crazy. Now my ideas really haven’t changed so something else has made them more acceptable. It seems lately that movies, TV, and the news are consumed with doomsday and conspiracy. In recent months I have watched shows on Discovery, Travel, History, Syfy, that have dealt with subjects that I use to be ridiculed for bringing up. They talk about, in a very serious manner, subjects like UFO’s, aliens, abductions, NWO, Free Masons, Bilderberg, the Illuminati, Skull and Bones, Bohemian Grove, underground bases, el chupacabra, bigfoot, Atlantis, and of course 2012. Movies are doing the exact same things. From District 9, the fourth Kind, Knowing, Watchmen, to 2012 starring John Cusack (seriously he’s going to save the world?!? Was Steve Guttenberg not available?!) Hollywood has turned conspiracy into the everyday norm. Even the news is getting in on the act. Sean Hannity flat out said the conspiracy theorists were right all along about the New World Order. Glen Beck and Lou Dobbs scream of the takeover of America. One world currency, H1N1 vaccine fears, FEMA camps, Big Brother surveillance, and government scandal is the topic of choice now daily.
3 and 4 years ago I was part of a talk radio show in the south. I and a few other “nuts” back then were telling people of these very things. We were told they did not exist, we must be on drugs, take off your tinfoil hat and live in reality cause this stuff ain’t happening! They would scream at us and laugh at us for even bringing this stuff up. Now all of the sudden it’s mainstream, big bucks, in your face every day. They use to talk about these subjects on occasion on TV but when they did it was in a dismissive, some loonies think this attitude. Now, it’s serious stuff. Conspiracy has become reality…WTF?!? Folks when I become the norm, when my thoughts become sane and real standby…the script is getting ready to flip like you won’t believe!
Think about it. 20 years ago when they would show someone on the news that claimed to see a UFO it would be some toothless redneck that could barely form sentences and reeked of moonshine. Military personnel, pilots, and scientists are now discussing their experiences on Larry King Live. Why is that? Could we be possibly being set up? There has been a conspiracy for years that the NWO would use a faked alien invasion or return to help them usher in their new world. Sounds crazy right? But now it’s not that far stretch of the imagination with the current programming we are witness to. I have watched Charlie Sheen, Rosie O’Donnell, Jesse Ventura, and the obnoxious couple from The Hills talk about 9/11 being an inside job…seriously. I have been in near fistfights with people for even bringing up the idea that I have questions about that day and now it’s conversation on Mtv!
The reporting of these things of course always focuses on negative. The 2012 shows are about the world being destroyed. The global elite and secret societies taking over are about us being put in camps and killed off. The aliens are abducting us and conducting horrible anal experiments. The crash of the system around us is going to cause world panic and violent anarchy. I think that’s what they want us to think. I think they are trying to create that negative outcome. The more that believe that this transition period the world is going through is going to be bad, it will be. Our mass consciousness creates mass reality. That’s why love, happiness, and the thought of the world being a utopia is not a common theme in our programming. Keep us thinking negative the world continues to be negative. Keep us afraid of the changes coming up and the worse they will be. But there is a small voice out there that says what is coming up is going to be beautiful.
Somewhere, nearly consumed by all the darkness that is thrust upon us, a light is growing. That light is the thought that the pains and negativity of this world are about to be shrugged off. That light is the shackles of control that have been holding us physically and spiritually back about to be broken and left behind. That man is getting ready to evolve and fly like we could only imagine before. That we are about to stop fighting over our borders, religions, skin colors and finally come together. That the horrors of poverty, starvation, and disease will be the distant memories of a time we have finally gotten past. That we are about to step into our rightful place in the universe alongside our alien brethren. That the contact that is being made is not violent and fearful but benevolent, loving, and guiding from life that has nothing but our best interest in mind. This is what I would like to think. This is what I hold on to so I can get through these crazy times. Good luck to us all. No matter what I can’t wait to see how it all turns out!
